Meet Our Attorneys

Robert Nelson

Robert earned his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell, now the University of Massachusetts, in 1986. After graduating, he worked for several years at the Raytheon Company designing radar systems for the company's missile systems division. He graduated from the Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1993 earning a Juris Doctorate that focused on intellectual property. Robert practiced in many different areas of law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire before joining Klaas, Law, O'Meara & Malkin in 1998, where his practice is now primarily in the area of patent law. He is licensed before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the States of New Hampshire and Colorado, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Outside of the office, Robert is an assistant scout master with his son's boy scout troop. In addition, he is a 4H leader in the areas of livestock, shooting sports, and beekeeping.
