Meet Our Attorneys

John Pessetto

John earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1980. He earned a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1982.

After graduating, he worked for 6 and half years at IBM designing SRAM and DRAM memories. From 1989 to 1999, John designed microprocessors, graphics display microchips, and memory controller microchips for Hewlett Packard Company. In 2000, he joined the legal department of Hewlett Packard where he practiced patent law. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College Of Law in 2004. In 2005, he joined Klaas, Law, O'Meara & Malkin where his practice is now primarily in the area of patent law. He is licensed before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the State of Colorado.

Outside of the office, John enjoys audio electronics, sporting events, and music.
